Distances
It is approximately a 20-minute walking distance from Dapia Port – the main port of Spetses – where the boutique shops and the cozy cafes are, and approximately a 5-minute walking distance from the Old Port – the most picturesque part of the island.
How to get to Spetses
From Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos), you can take a taxi directly to Piraeus Port, which is the main port of Athens. Alternatively, you can take the Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) from the airport to Monastiraki Station or Syntagma Station, and then transfer to Line 1 (Green Line) to Piraeus Station. From there, it’s a short walk or taxi ride to the port. Once you reach Piraeus Port, you’ll find regular ferry services to Spetses. The ferry journey typically takes around 2-3 hours, depending on the type of ferry and the schedule. You can check ferry schedules and book tickets in advance online or purchase them at the port.
If you prefer a more convenient option, we can arrange for a private transfer service from Athens International Airport directly to Spetses. Carefully selected drivers with luxury cars will be waiting for you at the airport to get you to Kosta – small town on the coast of the Peloponnese adjacent of Spetses Island – in approximately in 2,5 hours. From Kosta to Spetses, it takes 5 minutes by sea taxi – 1 nautical mile.
